This policy covers the merged BANG Productions website and its Audio Protocol and Visual Protocol portfolio content. Syndicast and other external websites have their own policies; their business details and processing practices do not automatically apply to this website.

Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies are small files stored by your browser. Local storage, tracking pixels, scripts and embedded players can also store or access information on your device. This policy covers those technologies, not just cookies. Visiting or scrolling this site does not mean you agree to optional tracking.

Your choices

You can reject optional services, accept the optional services currently available, or manage your preferences. Optional services are off until you choose to allow them. You can browse the portfolio and contact us without accepting optional services.

Use Cookie settings in the website footer to change or withdraw permission at any time. Rejecting optional services is as accessible as accepting them. Closing the preferences window without saving leaves your previous choice unchanged.

We remember a choice for up to 180 days, after which we ask again. This is our review period, not a time limit prescribed by GDPR. Changes to the purposes or providers may require a new choice sooner. Preferences apply to this browser and website origin, so another device or domain may ask separately.

First-party local storage
Remembers your choices, policy version and timestamp. Necessary for respecting your preferences; no advertising use.Recognised for up to 180 days. An expired record may remain in browser storage until replaced or deleted, but cannot authorise optional services. Clear website data in your browser to remove it.
External video players and thumbnailsVimeo and YouTube/Google. Loading a player or external thumbnail sends information such as your IP address and browser details to the provider. Players may store identifiers and use their own cookies.Optional external-media permission is required for controlled embeds and thumbnails. Provider storage can be session-based or persistent; it depends on the player and provider configuration. Review the provider policies below.
SchedulingCalendly is linked from this site. A normal outbound link loads Calendly only when you follow it, under Calendly's own policy. Any embedded scheduler must remain blocked until external-media permission is granted.Provider-specific storage on the destination site. Refusing optional services here does not block ordinary outbound links.

We do not use the old site's PHPSESSID or cookie-privacy as part of this React site's consent mechanism. Hosting and security services may process request data to deliver and protect the site. Such server processing is distinct from optional analytics or advertising consent. Any additional storage introduced by hosting or security configuration must be assessed and added to this inventory before use.

Planned analytics and advertising: not active

Google Analytics, Google Ads/remarketing, Meta Pixel and Meta Conversions API are not configured in this release. Their controls are disabled and consent for them is recorded as refused. Accepting the currently available optional services does not grant advance permission for these future tools.

If enabled later, analytics will have its own choice for measuring visits and site usage. Advertising will have a separate choice for campaign measurement, audience building and remarketing through Google and Meta. We will identify the exact providers, purposes, information collected, cookie names, configured lifetimes, recipients and relevant international-transfer arrangements, and request fresh consent before activating them.

Google Analytics typically uses _ga and property-specific cookies, while Meta may use _fbp and _fbc. These are examples of future technologies, not an assertion that they are currently set here. Server-side advertising events also require appropriate disclosure and consent enforcement; moving tracking to a server does not bypass your choice.

Search Console may be verified using DNS or an HTML verification tag. That verification does not install visitor analytics cookies on this website.

Withdrawal and deletion

Changing your preferences to reject external media removes the controlled players and stops future loading through those embeds. It cannot undo information already sent to a provider or delete cookies on a provider's separate domain. You can remove existing cookies and site data using your browser settings; provider privacy controls may offer additional options.

For a request to erase personal information previously processed using your consent, contact us at the email above. We will assess the request under applicable law and contact relevant recipients where required. A consent preference is not a substitute for handling an erasure request.

Legal framework

For EU visitors, relevant rules include GDPR and national implementations of the ePrivacy Directive. For UK visitors, relevant rules include UK GDPR and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), as amended. We use an opt-in approach for optional external media and will use separate opt-in choices for any future analytics and advertising, rather than assuming every analytics configuration qualifies for an exemption.
